Smart, if a little dated hotel right on the Creek - quite a way from Downtown / the Burj Khalid, etc. and maybe 45 mins from Jumeirah Beach Resort. Close enough to walk (if you're brave) along the Creek and to the souks / old town. Has everything you'd expect of a 5 star hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the beautiful Ottoman-themed beach resort. The staff was incredibly kind, and all the services were exceptional. They accepted our earlier check-in and provided gluten-free snacks. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel.

Update: We did it all over again last year, the same desert safari without dune bashing. The boys were begging to go back and this Dubai camel safari tour was just as good 2nd time around. We did our research and we think we’ve found the best desert safari tour right here.

Reply Christopher 27/03/2018 at Great, thanks. There were a couple of reviews I came across of other tour operators where the camel ride was described as being only a minute or so (basically get on and have photo taken & not much more), so wanted to be sure we don’t end up with one of those.

Tip: For the best chance of seeing the most active animals, take your safari early in the morning or late afternoon when it's cooler.
